Strengthening Community-Led Conservation: A Collaborative Journey with Conservation International

In August 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting a team from Conservation International at Murchison-Aswa Falls Conservancy (MAFC), one of the key conservancies we support. Their visit aimed to deepen their understanding of the progress we’re making in developing and promoting community-led conservation initiatives.

Conservation International, through the African Conservancies Fund, has invested $500,000 across Africa with plans to scale this up to $5 million over the next two years. This funding will provide crucial financial support to transform wildlife conservancies into sustainable and financially stable entities.

Our partnership with Conservation International provides critical financial resources and expertise, enabling us to strengthen our operations, expand our community-led initiatives, and promote sustainable land use that benefits both wildlife and local communities. This collaboration amplifies our efforts and encourages community participation, making conservancies a valuable land-use option for all.
